Travis Rilat and Tyson Perez
On Sunday, July 18 Travis Rilat and his crew member, Tyson Perez were involved in a non-racing related accident. Both Rilat and Perez suffered severe burns when a methanol barrel exploded. The two were transported to Harborview Hospital in Seattle where they remain in critical condition. [Read More]

Wayne Johnson
On Saturday, July 17 Wayne Johnson, 2000 ASCS National champion, was transported to the Harborview Hospital in Seattle after suffering severe foot injuries in an A-Main crash at Grays Harbor Raceway’s Fourth Annual Fred Brownfield Memorial. Johnson had a successful surgery early Sunday and will undergo a second surgery later in the week. [Read More]

Jesse Hockett
Donations are being accepted for the family of Jesse Hockett of Warsaw, Missouri. On May 26, 2010, Jesse died due to a tragic electrical accident while working on the race trailer. Our hearts ache for the Hockett family. Words cannot fill the giant hole that was instantly created in your hearts. Danny Smith

Josh Howard
In 2007, Josh survived a terrible crash at the Short Track Nationals in Little Rock, AR that left him paralyzed from the neck down. He has regained some movement in his arms and hands and the doctors are very hopeful. He continues to make periodical trips to Shepard’s Center in Atlanta for intensive physical therapy. Help Josh and his family defray the cost of the physical therapy; he has no insurance. [Read More]


John Heffernon, Jr.
On October 25, 2008, John B. Heffernon, Jr. was involved in a single car rollover accident at Heartland Park Topeka, KS. The car hooked a rut in the middle of turns one and two which caused him to barrel roll into the wall. John passed away on Friday, Nov. 7, 2008. Tadd Holliman
On July 25,2009 Tadd Holliman, driver of the #23R 360 Series Sprint Car was involved in a devastating racing accident at Eagle Raceway in Lincoln, NE. He suffered six broken ribs, a bruised lung, concussion, and a broken right upper arm. Since the accident, Tadd has been undergoing multiple medical treatments as well as extensive physical therapy and has been unable to return to work. To help defray his medical expenses a special fund has been established within the Steve King Foundation.

Greg Thyfault
Donations are being accepted for Greg Thyfault of Demar, KS. Greg was involved in an accident while competing in a 305 sprint car race in WaKeeney, KS on Memorial Day, 2009. The car flipped and ended up on the guard rail, resulting in a spinal cord injury. Greg was airlifted to Wichita, KS and later transported on to Denver, CO. [Read More]
