OUR PURPOSE

The Steve King Foundation^® was established for two reasons. First, we learned during our tragedy that there is not a national organization to assist fellow members of the racing community when they find themselves in similar situations. As a racing family, we can continue to help each other in times of need. The purposes of the foundation are outlined below. 

Primary purpose:

o     Provide assistance to race car drivers, pit crew members, racing officials and track operations personnel who are involved in dirt track racing and are seriously ill, severely injured or killed.

When additional funds are available:

o     Assist dirt track racing organizations and facilities in obtaining and maintaining safety equipment or implementing safety measures to enhance and improve dirt track racing.
